One-third of Alabama counties are vulnerable to COVID-19 due to low vaccination rates.

Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery are hotspots for potential outbreaks. The Wiregrass and Tennessee Valley regions are also high risk.

Mobile County is the only highly populated area in the state that is considered low risk for spread of the coronavirus.
