Tuscaloosa, AL – The University of Alabama campus is getting a facelift. 50 of the most prominent buildings on the Tuscaloosa campus will have the plants around them pulled out and replaced for a more streamlined look. The University paid area landscape architect Bonner Lee about 20-thousand dollars to design and oversee the project. Lee says six buildings, mostly those around The Quad, have been finished. U-A Director of Facilities, Thad Turnipseed, says the project should be completely finished in about 16 months.
