Muscle Shoals, AL – Walgreens Health Initiative plans to establish a customer contact center in Muscle Shoals. Governor Bob Riley and local representatives made the announcement Wednesday. The governor says the facility will create up to 500 new jobs. Its projected annual payroll would be seven-point-five million dollars. Riley says the customer contact center will be the receiving hub for a network of up to six other similar centers around the country. It will be responsible for processing claims and managing pharmacy benefit plans for Walgreen's pharmacy customers.
