Auburn, AL – Governor Riley has started the selection process to fill the seat on the Auburn University board of trustees that's currently held by Golda McDaniel of Auburn. Riley says the at-large seat will come open in February. Candidates who want to be considered for it should submit information to the Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee at Auburn University by December 10. Riley heads the five-member selection committee that will recommend a trustee to the Alabama Senate for approval. Two representatives of the Auburn alumni board, Neil Christopher and Ralph Jordan, are serving with Riley as well as two trustees, Earlon McWhorter and Paul Spina.
