Undated, AL – The National Weather Service reports that the northern third of Alabama might see a light snowfall this weekend. It's possible on Sunday, and the forecast covers the area from Birmingham to the Tennessee Valley region. Another arctic front is expected to enter the state, and that will bring another round of low temperatures. The system also could trigger snow flurries, but forecasters say they expect little or no accumulations. Strong, gusty northerly winds will accompany the front. Wind chill values could hover in the one-to-five degree range Sunday night and Monday.
