Washington, AL – Former Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor will be re-nominated to the 11th U-S Circuit Court of Appeals. A White House spokesperson says President Bush will re-nominate Pryor and 19 others to federal judgeships. The president nominated Pryor to the federal appeals court last year, but the Senate never approved him. The president then gave Pryor a temporary -- and controversial -- appointment that did not require the Senate's review. But Pryor must get final approval from the Senate to keep the federal judgeship permanently.
