Mobile, AL – The body of a Mobile-area man who was killed in Iraq is scheduled to be flown home Wednesday. Brett Anthony Hunter was killed December 21 when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in a military mess tent near the city of Mosul. The attack killed 21 other people as well. Hunter was in Iraq working for Halliburton when he was killed. Friends say he was an avid deep-sea fisherman, and his ashes will be spread in the Gulf of Mexico. Hunter graduated from Faulkner State Community College. He would have turned 30 on Christmas Day. His funeral is at noon Thursday at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile.
