Anniston, AL – The company Solutia is planning to build a new production line at its plant in Anniston. It would produce two aviation fluids -- Skydrol hydraulic fluids and SkyKleen cleaning solvents. A Solutia spokesperson did not say how much the effort will cost, and he did not say how many workers the operation will require. The plant currently employs 60 people. Production is expected to begin later this year or early next year. The Anniston operation already includes a specialty fluids production line, a fluid testing lab and Solutia's southeastern distribution center.
