Greenville, AL – U.S. Senator Russ Feingold will be back in Alabama on Monday to mend fences. The Wisconsin Democrat was criticized by Greenville city officials and residents after he visited last November. Feingold wrote a column online, saying he didn't understand why cities like Greenville continue to support the Republican Party when they're so economically depressed. Mayor Dexter McLendon and others didn't appreciate his comments. So McLendon invited Feingold to see the real Greenville. He says the Senator only came to play golf and stay overnight on his last visit. Feingold will also tour Montgomery and Birmingham.
