Bayou La Batre, AL – In Bayou La Batre, temporary housing units are expected to arrive soon. They'll hold about 15-hundred people who no longer have homes. Mayor Stan Wright says the housing units will be set up at a local park. City officials say ocean water covered two-thirds of the city and left about half of its 16-hundred structures uninhabitable. The Bayou La Batre Community Center is now serving as a shelter. Bayou La Batre's seafood processing industry also suffered significant damages.
