Tuscaloosa, AL – The hardest hit area was western Tuscaloosa County where eight twisters touched down. Meteorologists say data suggests two tornadoes were F-One's and six were F-Zero's. At least two people were injured and several mobile homes were overturned in the Lake Lurleen area where displaced families from Louisiana are being housed. Other surveys confirm two separate tornadoes occurred in Winston County -- one touched down near Double Springs, the other was located near the Fairview community. No injuries were reported. Another tornado track was found in eastern Sumter County about ten miles southeast of Livingston. Forecasters say aerial and ground surveys are planned Tuesday in Lamar, Walker and Pickens counties.
