Trinity Choir Invited to Carnegie Hall

By Alabama Public Radio

Trinity, AL – The Morgan County community of Trinity has something to sing about. The Trinity United Methodist Church choir has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Choir director Ray Phillips says MidAmerica Productions asked the choir to help perform the annual Christmas production of Handel's "Messiah." The choir will sing eight songs with at least six other groups from across the country. The entire chorus will include 180 to 200 people. They'll accompany the New England Symphony for the November 26th performance.
