Tyler Perry, Taking Madea from Stage to Page

Tyler Perry talks about his new book, Don't Make A Black Woman Take off her Earrings. Perry became rich and famous as the wisecracking, pistol-packing, advice-dispensing Southern grandmother, Madea.

Madea is the star of five stage plays written by Perry, as well as two movies he wrote and directed: Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion.
