Florence, AL – Johnny Hester was a principal at Vina High School in Franklin County ten years ago. It was 1996 when he met a then 30-something John Mark Karr, who was arrested this week in connection with the murder of JonBenet Ramsey that same year. Hester talked with Pat Sanders from our University of North Alabama Bureau and recounted his first impression of Karr.

OUTRO: That was former Vina High School principal Johnny Hester remembering John Mark Karr as a former substitute teacher. Karr is accused of killing JonBenet Ramsey nearly 10 years ago.
