Montgomery, AL – The Christian Coalition of Alabama has mailed a survey to legislative candidates. Issues include prayer in school, abortion, and allowing homosexuals to serve in the Alabama National Guard. The Coalition will use the responses in a voter guide it will distribute to churches across the state before the November Seventh general election. State Christian Coalition President John Giles says one-point-seven million of the voter guides will be distributed around the state before the election. The survey, though, is annoying some Democratic legislators, who say they believe its purpose is to hurt their campaigns.
