Two Alabama Firefighters Added to Memorial

By Associated Press

Emmitsburg, MD – The names of two fallen Alabama firefighters were added to a national memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on Sunday.

Dustin Keith Jones and Captain Lloyd McCulloch of the Moulton Fire Department died when a wall collapsed on them at a building fire on February 21st, 2006.

President Bush honored firefighters who died in the line of duty for their dedication and service to the nation.

A plaque with the names of 87 firefighters who died in the line of duty last year was added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial on the campus at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg.

Plaques surrounding the memorial, created in 1981, now show the names of more than 3,100 firefighters.
