Tuscaloosa AL – A section of Interstate 20/59 has reopened following a problem near the Coaling exit. Late Tuesday night, I-20/59 was closed between the 79 and 86 mile markers after a power line fell across the interstate during road construction. There were two separate one-vehicle accidents that were related to the slow or stopped traffic caused by the downed power line. There were no known injuries. Motorists were asked to detour using US Highway 11 or Highway 216. Traffic is flowing normally as of 11 am Wednesday.
