No Major Problems Reported from Wintry Precipitation

Alabama – A winter weather advisory for higher elevations of northeast Alabama was allowed to expired at 4 a.m. today. Forecasters said some areas saw a wintry mix of precipitation overnight, but that changed to rain.

Temperatures at 7 a.m. remained well above the freezing mark, ranging from 42 in Mobile to 37 in Huntsville.

According to the Alabama Department of Transportation web site, all major roads are open.
