Special Election Today to Fill House Seat in Cullman County

Cullman – District 12 voters in Cullman County are participating in a special election today. County Commissioner Wayne Willingham, a Republican, and Democrat James Fields are vying for a seat in the Alabama House of Representatives.

The winner replaces Neal Morrison of Cullman. Morrison resigned from the House last August to become president of Bevill State Community College.

House District 12 covers part of Cullman County, including the cities of Cullman and Hanceville.

The Legislature returns to Montgomery on February 5th for the 2008 regular session.
