Troy, AL – Troy University has its first graduates from Vietnam. This week, the school awarded diplomas to 26 students who are attending two schools that have partnered with the south Alabama university.
Chancellor Jack Hawkins Junior spoke at the ceremonies, during which 13 students from Hanoi University of Technology received diplomas Thursday and 13 students from the College of Economics at Vietnam National University diplomas Wednesday.
Troy University operates more than 60 teaching sites outside of Alabama in 16 states and 12 foreign countries.
Students at the Vietnam commencements earned degrees in business administration and computer science.
