Montgomery, AL – Voters are going to the polls to decide who the Republican candidates will be for two Congressional seats, an appeals court position and for president of the Alabama Public Service Commission.
But election officials have predicted a light turnout Tuesday in Alabama's runoff elections.
There are no Democratic Party runoffs for statewide or congressional offices.
The Republican Party has statewide runoffs for the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals and president of the Public Service Commission. There are also Republican runoffs in the 2nd Congressional District race in south Alabama and 5th Congressional District in north Alabama.
The are Democratic and Republican runoffs for courthouse posts in some counties.
