Gas Prices Drop in Alabama

Undated, AL – Despite a tropical storm in the Gulf, gas prices are still dropping in Alabama. According to AAA Alabama, the average price for regular unleaded slipped more than a penny from Wednesday to $3.92 a gallon.

The national average was down two cents overnight to $4.02 a gallon.

Diesel prices also dropped two cents. AAA said the statewide average is &4.78 a gallon.

Midgrade fuel averaged $4.17 and premium is $4.30 a gallon.
