Bay Minette, AL – It appears that a group of motorcycle riders didn't get the memo about obeying traffic laws.
Alabama state troopers said 13 cyclists were arrested after they were clocked at speeds of over 140 miles per hour on Interstate 10. All were stopped Sunday afternoon between the Daphne and Malbis exit ramps.
Troopers said 11 males and one female were each charged with speeding and reckless endangerment. The group was placed in the county jail in Bay Minette.
Authorities said the majority of those detained were members of the military stationed in northwest Florida.
