Montgomery, AL – Alabama Lt. Gov. Jim Folsom Jr. is headed to China on an economic and humanitarian trip. The mission is sponsored by the National Lieutenant Governors Association. Folsom will accompany lieutenant governors from Connecticut, Kansas, Nevada and Wisconsin.
Aside from promoting investment in Alabama, the group will meet with high-ranking officials and visit areas affected by the recent earthquake in China.
The trip begins Sunday and concludes Oct. 12. The cost of the trip wasn't immediately available.
