Montgomery, AL – A graphic video showing the ravages of methamphetamine on real Alabamians has been sent to all state high schools.
The Alabama District Attorney's Association worked with the governor and the state Department of Education to develop and distribute the video. The fast-paced video shows before and after pictures of Alabama meth addicts, with decaying teeth and gaunt, severely wrinkled faces dotted with sores.
Gov. Bob Riley says the video is the state's latest tool in the Zero Meth campaign, which is designed to discourage people from trying the illegal drug.
The governor joined district attorneys and education officials to preview the video Thursday at the Capitol.
