Former Public TV Employee Accused of Stealing $7,500

Montgomery, AL – A former Alabama Public Television Foundation employee has been accused of stealing $7,500 that had been sent as a donation to the station.

Attorney General Troy King said Wednesday that Lagina Darice Brown Fulling, also known as Gina D. Brown, was arrested Tuesday evening and taken to the Montgomery County Jail for transport to Jefferson County.

The 44-year-old Brown, of Jefferson County, was accused of stealing a check from AARP, the advocacy organization for older citizens. Indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury, she was charged with one count of theft by deception and one count of property theft.

It was not clear if Fulling had a lawyer Wednesday afternoon.
