Montgomery, AL – Gasoline prices across Alabama remain below the national average, according to AAA.
The statewide average for regular unleaded is almost $1.58 a gallon Monday.
Nationally, regular fuel averaged $1.66.
AAA Alabama said motorists are paying, on average, $1.68 for midgrade and $1.73 for premium.
The average national price of gasoline fell 9 cents in the past two weeks, bringing it to its lowest point since 2004.
