Future Gubernatorial Candidate Praises Riley's Gambling Task Force

Montgomery, AL – Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim James is praising Gov. Bob Riley for creating a task force to investigate illegal gambling in Alabama.

James said illegal gambling operates openly in Alabama and Riley has taken an important first step to rid Alabama of illegal games of chance.

Riley announced the task force on Monday and named former Jefferson County District Attorney David Barber to lead it.

James is a Greenville businessman and is the first Republican to announce for the governor's race in 2010.
