Bob Mants is a civil right activist who was part of the Bloody Sunday encounter at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma. He is also chair of Lownes County Friends of the Selma-to-Montgomery National Historic Trail, and a former member of Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.
