Tuscaloosa AL – The excitement is building for Tuesday's Inaugural festivities across Alabama.
The University of Alabama is hosting an Inaugural gathering at Ferguson Center beginning at 10am. Faculty, staff and students are invited to watch the moments leading up to the Inauguration and the President's address.
In Birmingham, there's the Inaugural celebration at Boutwell Auditorium where school children and local artists will perform musical tributes to President-elect Barack Obama.
Alabama State University in Montgomery will be the site for an Inaugural watch party and a ball sponsored by the NAACP.
These events will also include a simulcast of the swearing-in ceremonies in Washington.
Meanwhile, the Azalea Trail Maids from Mobile will be featured at this afternoon's Inaugural Parade in Washington.
