Montgomery, AL – Gov. Bob Riley has appointed his state finance director, Jim Main, to the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals.
Main will take the seat vacated by Greg Shaw when he moved to the Alabama Supreme Court in January. Main's appointment is effective May 15.
Main has served as state finance director since June 2004. Before that, he served as the governor's senior counsel. He was also involved in Gov. Fob James' second administration as chief of staff and legal adviser.
