Montgomery, AL – Alabama's Ten Commandments judge, former Chief Justice Roy Moore, has announced he is running for governor again as a Republican.
Moore made the announcement Monday before supporters in Montgomery.
His campaign Web site - http://www.moore2010.com - went up earlier Monday, inviting supporters to sign a pledge to help elect Moore as governor.
Moore, 62, was ousted as chief justice in 2003 for refusing to obey a federal court order to remove his Ten Commandments monument from the Supreme Court building's rotunda. He ran for governor in 2006, but lost the Republican primary to incumbent Bob Riley.
