Trawick Set To Die Tomorrow By Lethal Injection

Montgomery, AL – An Alabama death row inmate whose graphic writings and grizzly drawings about his crimes were posted on the Internet is scheduled to be executed Thursday.

Jack Trawick is scheduled to die for the 1992 abduction and slaying of Stephanie Gach of Birmingham. The 62-year-old death row inmate was also convicted of killing 27-year-old Aileen Pruitt of Birmingham earlier in 1992 and was sentenced to life in prison without parole in that case.

Prisons spokesman Brian Corbett says Trawick has been moved to a holding cell next to the execution chamber where he is to die by lethal injection.

Trawick had not filed anything in court seeking to stop his execution as of Wednesday afternoon.
