Ozark, AL – Gov. Bob Riley is to tour a center for aviation technology training at a south Alabama community college.
Riley will at 10 a.m. Tuesday tour the center at the Enterprise-Ozark Community College Aviation Campus on U.S. 231 in Ozark.
The governor will visit the three-building training center where students study theory in classrooms and then do hands-on work in laboratories. Students at the center study airframe technology, powerplant technology and avionics technology.
The Ozark training center is one of four started in Alabama to prepare workers for jobs in aviation and aerospace.
