Montgomery, AL – Montgomery attorney Josh Segall has announced he is dropping his challenge against U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers for the 3rd Congressional District seat.
Segall said Friday that he will continue working to further causes like bringing agricultural growth back to Alabama.
The Democrat made his first run for public office in 2008 but lost when Rogers was elected to his fourth term.
Segall had said he decided to run again because he wanted to create jobs in the district and improve the quality of life in rural Alabama.
He raised nearly $1 million in his race against Rogers in 2008.
