Montgomery, AL – Financial disclosure forms show that Alabama's three newly elected members of Congress are comfortable financially, but do not have extravagant portfolios.
Two new members of the U.S. House - Democratic Rep. Terri Sewell of Birmingham and Republican Rep. Mo Brooks of Huntsville - each listed past incomes of more than $200,000 as lawyers. In Congress, they'll make $174,000 annually.
Republican Rep. Martha Roby of Montgomery appears to be getting a raise by going to Congress, though. The only income she listed on disclosure forms was her $28,000 salary as a member of the Montgomery City Council.
The financial disclosure forms were filed with Congress.
