Lincoln, AL – Honda is planning to invest $94 million in its auto plant in Lincoln and add 20 jobs.

The Talladega County Commission approved tax abatements for the project Monday night. It should be completed in mid-2012.

Company spokesman Mark Morrison said the $94 million investment will increase production capacity and improve the flexibility of vehicle and engine manufacturing. Honda currently employs more than 4,000 people at its Lincoln plant.
