Officials with the state Republican Party and with Cain's campaign say the Georgia businessman will be in Alabama on Oct. 28-29. Cain is scheduled to speak Oct. 28 in Talladega at 11 a.m. and in Birmingham at 1:30 p.m. Then he will go by the state Republican Party headquarters in Birmingham to register for Alabama's presidential primary.

On Oct. 29, he will be in Tuscaloosa at 10:30 a.m. to speak to the West Alabama Republican Assembly and in Huntsville at 7 p.m. to address the Alabama Federation of Republican Women. Officials say other stops are being planned.

Cain was last in Alabama in July.
