Freezing Temperatures Expected Over Most Of Ala.

Montgomery, AL – Temperatures are expected to tumble into the teens in parts of northern Alabama Monday night as a blast of cold weather arrives.

National Weather Service forecasters predict lows of around 19 degrees in Florence Monday night, and around 20 degrees in Huntsville.

The weather service predicts lows around 26 degrees as far south as the Mobile area Monday night.

In Montgomery, the temperature is expected to plunge to around 22 degrees Monday night.

In Birmingham, a low temperature of around 21 is expected Monday night.

Temperatures are expected to moderate somewhat by mid-week. The high for Birmingham is expected to climb to around 64 degrees by Friday.
