Scale Back Alabama Weight Loss Program Back

Montgomery, AL – Two sisters who were the winner and the runner-up in season 11 of ``The Biggest Loser'' TV show are serving as the spokeswomen for Scale Back Alabama.

The sixth year of the statewide weight loss program kicked off Thursday in Montgomery. Olivia Ward, who was the winner, and her sister, Hannah Curlee, say the keys to losing weight are to quit postponing a decision to get started and make sure to have a support system.

The sisters attended high school in Mobile and then the University of Alabama. Now they try to motivate people to lose weight.

Alabama's contest involves teams of four. Weigh-ins will be Jan. 21-27, and there are weigh-in sites in every county. Weigh-outs will be April 7-13.

Officials said 33,000 people participated last year.
