Good morning. I'm Michel Martin. If you've seen any of the movies, then you know Indiana Jones really doesn't like snakes.

HARRISON FORD: (As Indiana Jones) I hate snakes, Jock. I hate them.

MARTIN: That's actor Harrison Ford. And in real life, he doesn't actually hate snakes. And in fact, he's a longtime conservationist. Now there's a species of snake named after Ford. It's found in Peru, grows to about 16 inches and is harmless to humans. How's that for a namesake? OK, I'm going for it. How's that for a name-snake (ph)? It's MORNING EDITION.
