Detroit Museum Accused of 'Dumbing Down' Art

The Detroit Institute of Arts, which owns one of the most significant collections in the world, has reopened after finishing its 158-million-dollar renovation. The museum has attempted to reinvent its approach, incorporating more multimedia to draw in greater numbers of visitors. The "dumbed down" design is sacrificing education for entertainment, critics charge. Visitors don't agree.
