BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Forecasters in Birmingham are warning that an approaching storm system could include high winds and may lead to flooding in some areas. National Weather Service officials say a strong storm moving northeast from the Mississippi Gulf Coast is expected to his some areas of Alabama around 10 p.m. Sunday and last until about noon Monday. Forecasters say severe weather is possible throughout most of central Alabama, but the storm is expected to be most intense south of a line between Hamilton, Alabaster and Union Springs through Monday morning. Forecasters say tornadoes are possible south of a line between Aliceville, Centreville and Montgomery. Forecaster say they're expecting about 3 to 4 inches of rain, which could lead to flooding in some areas.
