Montgomery, AL – The electronic bingo casino in White Hall is planning to reopen while asking the Alabama Supreme Court to reconsider a gambling decision that forced the operation to shut down temporarily.
Attorney Joe Espy said Monday a reconsideration request was being prepared for the Alabama Supreme Court. The court ruled Nov. 13 that the games at White Hall must meet six criteria, including numbers being announced one by one and players being required to mark their cards.
The White Hall Resort and Entertainment Center shut down its 900 electronic bingo machines after the ruling. Espy said the entertainment center is planning to reopen soon with revised games that will meet the Supreme Court's requirements.
