Birmingham, AL – President Bush's visit to Birmingham Monday morning is not expected to cause traffic problems in the area. Birmingham based Secret Service agent J- Christopher Murphy says some roads will be closed, but he doesn't think it will disrupt large amounts of traffic. Murphy described today's events as quick in-and-out visit. The president will make two speeches, one on the nation's economy at CraneWorks. He'll also attend a two-thousand-dollar-a-plate luncheon at the Sheraton Birmingham to raise money for his re-election bid. Neither event is open to the public.
