Birmingham, AL – A group of Muslims in Birmingham has organized an evening of presentations on Islam in an effort to correct misconceptions about their faith. Experts on the history and culture of Islam will speak on The Legacy of Prophet Muhammad, at U-A-B Thursday. The chairman of the Universal Heritage Foundation will speak about the belief of Muhammad being a brother in faith to Jesus and Moses. Also...Jerald Dirks, a converted Methodist, will discuss how the Muslim prophet was a champion of women's rights.
