Mobile, AL – Employees from the North American unit of the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company were in Mobile Wednesday. They were inspecting a site for the company's proposed 600 million dollar aircraft plant. Mobile is among four southern cities competing for the facility. David Oliver Junior is chief executive officer for E-A-D-S North American Defense. He says his group made the trip to Mobile just to make sure there are no problems if that site is chosen. He says the company plans to make its final choice by late June.
