New Search for Missing Alabama Teen

By Alabama Public Radio

Aruba – Authorities launched another search for Natalee Holloway. She's the Alabama teenager who has been missing more than two weeks in Aruba. About three dozen police officers searched a beach Tuesday near the Marriott Hotel where she stayed. Authorities are looking in that area because of some new information. One of the security guards who was arrested and then released in the case says he overheard some information while he was in jail. Three other young men are being held in the case, and the security officer says he heard one of them say they did not take Holloway back to her hotel room on the day she disappeared. Instead, Holloway was dropped off near the hotel with a 17-year old Dutch student. Police closed a three-block area near the Marriott to search for her.
