Montgomery, AL – There's a new statewide health survey suggesting most Alabamians are generally pleased with their health care coverage and their ability to get medical attention. Sixty-five percent of those surveyed said they believe the quality of healthcare in their community is either good or excellent. Eighty percent of those polled said they believe they have adequate access to medical services. However, the survey also found there's still a strong perception that other Alabamians have difficulty getting treatment. About two thirds of those surveyed said they believe most Alabamians do not have access to adequate health care.
