Probe of "Ticket Fixing" Continues

By Alabama Public Radio

Auburn, AL – A joint investigation by the FBI and Auburn police is continuing into alleged ticket fixing by an Auburn police officer. Auburn Public Safety Director Bill James says the city is anxious to complete the investigation but wants to make sure that it is thorough. James would not give any specifics of the scope of the investigation or the name of any officers under scrutiny, but he did say that when the investigation was complete, a detailed account of the findings would be made public. James says a number of employees have been interviewed in Montgomery as part of the investigation, but he says the probe was primarily centered on one employee.
